THE STORY OF JOSEFINA

Raquel, one of evolución´s best foster home and volunteer received a
called saying about a stray galgo in a elders´ residence in Toledo area She arrived there and found this poor galga.

Directly she took her car and took her to our vet in Madrid. We named her Josefina.

She is very skinny and of of her back leg are destroyed probably due to a shoot.

She is in now in vet hospital until vet decided what to do with her leg and the infection will be controlled.

We need a foster home in Madrid, if you can help her please contact us. Thanks

Josefina is doing very very well. Her foster mum is just crazy about her as she says she is the best galgo ever. She still needs some more weeks in order to know if she needs another surgery for her leg. As you can see in the pictures she has put on weight and now is 21,600 kg...

Tremendo estado de la pata de Josefina ...

Last week, after spent some weeks in intensive care in a vet hospital she was finaly operated in order to fix her leg. She needs another surgery in some weeks but se will keep her leg safe. The post surgery recovery will take more than 4 months. Josefina is in best hands as Raquel is fostering her. At home she is very clean, nice, sweet and not scared of anyone. We just need to find her a good family who wants to adopt her.

Josefina is getting recovered. The surgery was succesful and maybe she does not need another surgery. She has put on 4 kg and started playing with other dogs and cats.

JOSEFINA HER NEW HOME

Josefina has been adopted by Natalia and her daughter in Madrid. They will take care of her until the vet consider her leg is completely healed.
