THE STORY OF VERA

This galga was first time seen last 18th january. One of her front leg was broken due to a trap , the other front leg had severe injures and maybe and old fracture. Although this was vey painful for her she was so scared that it was impossible to take her. After some days of intensive search she dissapeared and was seen and taken yesterday. One of Evolucion´s volunteers drove her to Madrid so a good vet could see her. She is under intensive care and the surgery will take place next friday. Vera will be operated by one of the best traumatologist in Madrid.

Thanks so much to Gracia and all people involved in her rescue. Thanks to Leticia, María José, and the people from asha shelter and of course thanks to Juan, the volunteer who drove her to Madrid and named her as Vera.

Now when the temperatures in Toledo area are -3 Vera´s daughter is still on the street so we will try to rescue her with our trap box.

Vera was operated last friday 29th january and she is doing very well. Monday evening her foster mum RAquel, is going to take her to her place so she can be recover very soon.
